Quicksilver is a turn based fighting game based on historical European martial arts. The game is designed to replicate fencing as closely as possible with techniques based on historical combat manuals.
I was involved in the refinement of the combat system, both through application of my experience with HEMA (the contemporary practice of European martial arts) and experience in designing games.
I also worked on concept documentation for the single player system. Including the design of the tutorial and learning suites and a prototype of the menu system.
Quicksilver is still currently in development, with an intended early access limited release in 2019.
